A
free concert was offered
on Sunday, November 13, 2005, at Wheatland
Presbyterian Church in Lancaster,
Pennsylvania. Ron
was joined by Tony Marino,
bass, and Joe Mullen, drums. Included
in this concert was new versions
of pieces that appeared on Ron's
2003 recording, The
House of Counted Days.
There
was a duo performance with Paul
Klinefelter at the Wilmington
Music School on Friday
evening, October 21, 2005, and, the following day, Ron
participated in a JAZZ DAY
event at the school, with
workshops and performances open
to the public at no charge.

Bengtson continues
to perform Ron Thomas' composition
SIX PIECES FOR PIANO (1992-1999).
On Feb. 20, 2005, the piece was
performed at Haverford College
in Bryn Mawr, Pennyslvania, and,
on Feb. 15, at the University of
the Arts in Philadelphia.
